SmartUs concept is based on the multidisciplinary research and development project realized in years 2002 - 2006.
About the SmartUs project

Development and research work is still continuing but the focus point is more in following and analysing the use of the SmartUs environment in school context. SmartUs Ltd. is participating in InnoSchool consortium project which researches and developes schools, with the goal to develop the Future School. The synergy between the different co-projects is achieved through theoretical dialogue, and especialy through empirical case and action research on selected pilot schools. About the InnoSchool

InnoPlay
is a research project run by the Centre for Media Pedagogy at the University of Lapland. It is part of the InnoSchool consortium. The project is developing the concept of Playful Learning for the future school. This concept relates to outdoor playgrounds - Playful Learning Environments (PLE) - enriched by technological tools with the objective to study how technological solutions and playground applications facilitate teaching and learning processes. InnoPlay investigates PLEs in school education through teaching experiments and by observing children's play and learning activities in authentic pilot school contexts.
